Valentine's Day Bar Cart
It feels like I just packed away my Christmas decor (because I did), so decorating for Valentine's Day felt a little bit like a chore. I don't usually decorate our home for this holiday, but if you've been following me then you know we're expecting our first babe in March and I'd like to begin decorating for all holidays—even in the smallest ways.
If you're here from Ashley Nicole Interiors, thanks so much for following our blog hop! I'm joining a group of blogger friends to hopefully inspire you with simple ideas for styling a bar cart.
Valentine's Day Cocktail
What's a bar cart without a festive cocktail (or in my case, mocktail)?! This Sunrise Grapefruit Cocktail by Like Mother, Like Daughter is pretty and has all of my favorite ingredients. It's sweet and has the perfect amount of sparkle, so it's a great recipe for Valentine's Day.
I made it a point to use a lot of what I already had, so I snagged my light box (similar HERE), marble serving board (similar HERE), and milk glass urn (similar HERE) from the kitchen and the crystal candlesticks (similar HERE) were part of my Christmas decor.
For a fun and whimsical touch, I added a pom pom garland and foam flowers from Hobby Lobby.
Valentine's Day Treats
I came across this recipe for Heart Shaped Jello Shots by That's So Michelle and modified it so that I could enjoy a few. I thought they turned out cute and they were fun to eat, too!
