This will be Rowan’s 1st Christmas and I can’t wait to see Christmas through her eyes, especially as she grows to understand it. She’ll be 9-months on Christmas Day, so educational toys—toys with intention—are important. I’m recommending some things we already own and love, plus sharing some of the things I have my eyes on for Rowan.
Ooh la la, I would love it if Santa brought me any one of these gifts and I hope you’ll love my picks too. I’ve rounded up a collection I think any woman would love, whether it be your mom, sister, or friend.
Guys can be particularly tough to buy for, although I feel like you can’t go wrong with some sort of tech gift. Think technology and something classic like a duffle bag and you’ll have the men in your life marked off your list in no time. My husband owns a lot of what’s included here, so it’s guy approved and I hope the person you’re buying for loves it too.
Let’s talk about what’s fueling my creativity lately! One of my dearest friends, someone I’ve known since 6-years-old, asked me to help with the design of her nursery for baby #2—it’s a boy! She sent me an image she really liked and I went to work…
Welcome moms and friends! If you found your way here from The Posh Home, thank you for following our Mama Must Haves Blog Hop. I'm excited to share my favorite products and tidbits that have been helpful since our baby girl entered this world four months ago. As a new mom, I quickly realized all of the things infants require and it's a lot for a minimalist like myself. So when it came time to prepare our master bedroom for our babe's arrival, it was important I only bring in the necessities and keep our room from feeling like it was being overrun with baby stuff. Now, with Rowan 4 months old, I've discovered the essentials to keep bedside and how to organize everything in a way that doesn't clutter our room.
Rowan is here and six weeks already. Bam! Just like that, time is passing us by. It sure is funny how the concept of time changes with life events. We were just eagerly anticipating her debut and now I wish time would slow down.
When designing her room I knew I wanted it to be feminine and sophisticated and not too cutesy or cliché. I wanted a space she could grow up with. Her nursery is chic with soft touches of blush and combines my love of victorian and mid-century. This room brings me so much joy and I'm excited to finally be sharing it with you all!
It feels like I just packed away my Christmas decor (because I did), so decorating for Valentine's Day felt a little bit like a chore. I don't usually decorate our home for this holiday, but if you've been following me then you know we're expecting our first babe in March and I'd like to begin decorating for all holidays—even in the smallest ways.
