Baby Girl Nursery
We’re less than three weeks away from meeting our baby girl and still need to decide on a name and complete the nursery! If only she’ll hang on until my scheduled induction at 39 weeks, but I have a feeling she may come sooner!
If you follow along on Instagram then you saw my dilemma with the original chandelier and rug. The chandelier arrived broken (twice) and the rug was a big disappointment because the design was printed. So! I went on the hunt for a different chandelier and searched for a new pink rug.
The chandelier ended up being a Facebook Marketplace find for $100, which I was thrilled about! It’s white blown glass with polished nickel accents and metallic silver shades. She’s a beaut! This change eliminated the floor lamp because of its cone shade and steered things in a different direction.
Another change was eliminating the mirror. The only functional space for the glider was a corner, forcing the dresser in front of the window. Now I’m left with (quickly) finding a side table and lamp. I know both will be useful, because they were in Rowan’s nursery. Mama needs a place to sit her coffee!
