Happy Fourth of July From Our Home to Yours!
Happy Fourth of July, friends! I love this holiday, because it serves as a great reminder, but also because of the gathering of family and friends. Decorating for the fourth is always fun too and this year I wanted to make it a point to decorate with items I already had.
You may remember this boxed bottle centerpiece Outdoor Living post. I added some baby's breath and this red, white, and blue banner and flag I picked up last year from the dollar bin at Target. Voila!
I'd been holding onto this banner from Pottery Barn and draped it across our mantel, a focal point in our home.
I picked up these red gerberas last week and while many of them were dying, I was able to hold onto a few, so I cut the stems and created this bud vase arrangement. And did you notice how I laid the patriotic Pottery Barn magazine on the top of the stack? Ha!
I LOVE my lightbox. It's a fun way to share little messages. The s'mores became an impulse buy when we walked by the fixings on display at Kroger. I can't tell you the last time I had s'mores (they were SO good) and our friends loved them as well!
I hope everyone is enjoying celebrating the holiday and as always, thank you for following along and reading. I'll be back later this week, but in the meantime follow my updates on Instagram.
