New Blogger & Home Decorator in Rockwall, Texas

So, who is Alyse Warren anyway?  I live nearby my hometown in North Texas, because it’s close to family and that’s important to me.  My husband’s name is Jeremy and my favorite place to be is together, in our home, with our English Bulldog, Bella.

We purchased a “production” home, or track home as some people know it, two years ago last month (March 2015).  Ever since construction began, I worked towards making our home feel custom.  I asked the builder to slop on mortar to create a custom messy mortar look.  I pushed the builder to offer cool tone tiles (something that wasn’t quite available at the time).  I envisioned stained concrete floors in the office, black trim in the entryway, and new light fixtures and vanity mirrors to replace what was contractor grade.  

I have always loved interior decorating, but I  recognized it to be my passion as I styled our first home and I'm eager to share what I love with all of you, here, on my new little space on the web.
