Transitional Style Neutral Bedroom

Transitional Style Neutral Bedroom

I’m drawn to traditional furnishings yet crave the simplicity of modern styling, and it’s the balance of old and new that creates transitional style. It’s refined and sophisticated and what I had in mind when working on this bedroom design. I hope you like it!

You’ll notice the big pieces of furniture are neutral colors (ivory, gray, and black), and then I layered in pops of blush for color. I also incorporated a variety of textures like velvet, cotton, linen, wood, and metal. I wanted it to feel timeless, but look new. You can read about other ways to incorporate this style in to your home with this style guide by Joss & Main.
