Fall Front Porch in 4 Steps

Fall Front Porch in 4 Steps

With Lennon born late August, September feels kind of like a blur because things have never been busier. It’s hard to believe it’s almost October, but I’m so here for it! I’m excited for cooler temps, fun family activities and upcoming holidays. Hello fall!!

Fall Front Porch in 4 Steps

  1. Add a doormat: A doormat grounds the space and greets your guests. Target has a lot of affordable options.

  2. Add potted plants: This is my favorite thing to do because flowers are what make the space pretty. It’s also where you can showcase your color palette.

  3. Add pumpkins: I prefer real pumpkins although you don’t start to see them until late September. Mix and match types of pumpkins so there’s a variety of shapes and sizes. I like to pick pumpkins for stacking and I also grab a bunch of baby boo pumpkins for the “final layer”.

  4. Add lanterns: I do this to create height since pumpkins typically sit on the ground. It’s also a good decor option for the season since lanterns signal cozy vibes.
