Chinoiserie Baby Girl Nursery

Chinoiserie Baby Girl Nursery

Lennon Jules was born August 28th and our hearts have never been so full! It’s as if your heart grows with each child because it’s the most joyous feeling. Rowan has finally warmed up to having a baby sister and I just love our new family dynamics!

I created this design board for Lennon’s nursery and shared sneak peeks on Instagram Stories, but today I’m finally revealing the completed space. Just like Rowan’s nursery, I wanted it to be feminine and sophisticated—something she could grow up with. I moved the largest pieces from Rowan’s nursery then used art as the center of the design and styled around it. Let me show you!

I have a hard time appreciating art, but have always been drawn to Chinoiserie panels and fell in love with this one that anchors the crib. I chose a neutral color palette so that it can be moved around the house, and the frame is a silver leaf wood that’s custom from Hobby Lobby.

The chandelier was a Facebook Marketplace find and is no longer available for me to link. It’s white blown glass with polish nickel accents and metallic silver shades. Dimensions were an important factor for me when shopping chandeliers and this one is 22” diameter.

How cute are these butterflies!? They were the last thing I added and for only $10, they make such a statement!

I knew I wanted a bookshelf for additional storage and it ended up working perfectly with the room configuration. It’s on the largest wall which meant I needed something substantial for the room to feel balanced and later added the floor lamp to help with this.

Nursery organization is important because there are a lot of little things to keep up with, plus you want to be able to see baby’s clothes so you know what you’re grabbing. These drawer organizers (HERE and HERE) are affordable and help categorize everything so it’s easily accessible.
