A Neutral Chic Christmas
Welcome! Thanks so much for joining us on this Cheerful Christmas Home Tour. If you're coming from The Greenspring Home, I'm so glad you're here. Kelly is our host and she's gathered a group of amazingly talented women that are sure to leave you feeling inspired.
I hope you'll settle in and stay awhile, because I'm excited to show you our home decorated for Christmas!
The fragrant of fresh pine reminds me of Christmas, so I love to incorporate it into our Christmas decor. I found this 18' fresh garland and coordinating wreath on Amazon and have been so impressed with their quality. The garland was long enough to cut and spread across the dining table, which you'll see more of in my tablescape below.
I wanted simple stocking holders and found these flat lay ones from Pottery Barn which are perfect for a mantle styled with garland. I found matching chunky knit stockings and the candle houses at HomeGoods. To customize our stockings, I added mercury glass letter ornaments.
This year, it was time for a new tree and I've always admired the flocked trees from King of Christmas, so as soon as I saw they were on sale, I snatched one up. It's a beautiful tree and I've already gotten a lot of compliments on it.
The other ornaments and tree picks are from At Home.

When the weather turns cooler, I crave hot cocoa and this self-serve station is perfect for holiday entertaining. I poured hot cocoa mix into this glass truffle bowl I already had and arranged paper cups for guests to grab and go, styled with candy canes to use for mixing.

Keeping things minimal in the kitchen, I added this faux juniper wreath above the range, fresh flowers next to the sink, and some sweet treats for guests to indulge in.
Tablescapes are my favorite to create and I always try to use some of what I already have, so you may have seen the dinnerware, flatware, and dinner napkins in previous posts. I added new seasonal napkin rings and tied the flatware with leftover ribbon to create a different look. Then, I topped off each place setting with a cute little sugar cookie for guests to enjoy for dessert.
When updating our bedroom for the season, I aim for inexpensive, subtle changes like new bedsheets and throw pillows. Gingham is all the craze right now, so not only are these bedsheets stylish, but they're flannel and really comfy.
