Fall Front Porch in 4 Steps

With Lennon born late August, September feels kind of like a blur because things have never been busier. It’s hard to believe it’s almost October, but I’m so here for it! I’m excited for cooler temps, fun family activities and upcoming holidays. Hello fall!!

How to Keep Pumpkins From Rotting

It’s officially fall and I’m welcoming the season with open arms! We’ve already been to two pumpkin patches and decorated our front porch with pumpkins. With a toddler and newborn, time is passing me by and I’m not sure what day it is most of the time (the lack of sleep doesn’t help!). But the temps are cooling off and it feels like a new season which I think we can all be excited about given the year it’s been so far. Now let me let you in on the secret!

Chinoiserie Baby Girl Nursery

Lennon Jules was born August 28th and our hearts have never been so full! It’s as if your heart grows with each child because it’s the most joyous feeling. Rowan has finally warmed up to having a baby sister and I just love our new family dynamics!

What's in My Hospital Bag (The Second Time Around)

My hospital bag for Rowan’s delivery included everything but the kitchen sink! I read posts and watched videos to make sure I had everything I’d need and only ended up using about half. Plus, there were some things I didn’t packed that I wish I had. Now, my second time around, I know exactly what I’ll be needing and the extra things I can leave at home.

Baby Girl Nursery

We’re less than three weeks away from meeting our baby girl and still need to decide on a name and complete the nursery! If only she’ll hang on until my scheduled induction at 39 weeks, but I have a feeling she may come sooner!

Kid's Closet Makeover - No Tools Required!

Rowan’s nursery is now a big girl room! It’s a bittersweet moment as a mama, but we’re encouraging the transition before her baby sister arrives end of August! I moved the dresser in Rowan’s room to the new nursery which created the need for drawer storage, but I didn’t want to reconstruct the closet or spend a lot of money. I also didn’t want something that looked cheap. Read on to see how I created more usable closet space that looks pretty for under $200!
